Bartosz Sz. You can enter a world of cliches when speaking about ambient music so let's just stop the description at one word - beautiful. Favorite track: Weak Heart (with Jack Chuter).

about

TERR074: “As Above So Below” is Luke Lund’s guitar soundscape project from 2011. As in slow motion frames where time stands still, his tonal and atonal bowed guitar improvisations in non-standard tunings are engaged in a dialogue with fellow guitarists. The project was ultimately lost in limbo because as a perfectionist Lund was holding back to release such an ambitious effort. Now it is the right time for the project to finally be released!

This LP-length album consists of four immersive ambient movements featuring Aidan Baker (Nadja), Andy Swan (Iroha / Khost) and Jack Chuter. Stellar visual work by Thijs Desmet is painted using an unpredictable, decaying printing process. The album was created by shaping layers of textures intuitively instead of composing them, which was charasteristic of Lund at the time. The recordings are influenced by films of S. Brakhage, K. Lopushanskiy and sounds in the style of Robert Rich, Loren Connors and Final.

Pay-what-you-want: all proceeds support the upcoming debut physical album on Birthdeath that is currently in songwriting stage.
