The Beaver Ponds

Recorded May 12th, 2010 near Clanton Alabama US at a series of water features we called ”the beaver ponds”. These ponds were host to huge, raucous, multi-species choruses of frogs and toads. Located down the hill from my childhood friend’s house, the ponds are ringed by managed forests. While I have not visited in a few years, I have heard that the area has been clear cut.

Jimmy King accompanies and assists in the setup and recording.
